Guest Reviews & Ratings
Upon arrival, the room was spotless and very welcoming, although not as pictured in the ad, differing greatly from the online images. The service was very nice and capable, accommodating our check-in needs promptly. The location is fine, near a metro stop, and the dining experience, despite contradicting online information, could have been better. Overall, it was a decent stay with some drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was convenient for my needs in Silver Spring, with an early check-in granted in a friendly manner. However, the room had a strong odor of marijuana, and the lack of attention to detail in service left much to be desired. Despite these issues, the hotel's proximity to a metro stop and a grocery store added some convenience to the stay.
When we first arrived at the hotel, the room was not smoke-free, which was a bit unpleasant from 9 to 11:30 at night. The smell of smoke and old carpet was overwhelming, and it seemed like a heavy dose of Febreeze or some strong perfume was used. The service was very good overall but lacked attention to detail in replenishing essentials like toilet paper, coffee, and towels. The location was the highlight, being in a nice neighborhood albeit with some noise disturbances from vehicle alarms. The dining experience fell short despite online promises of wood-fired pizza. The hotel had some positives and negatives that stood out, making for an average stay.
